Virtual Tour Guide Project
The Virtual Tour guide (VTG) is an application that is being developed with seed funding within the Mobile Data Visualization group
in collaboration with the Reuben H. Fleet Science museum in Balboa Park, San Diego. This cell phone application will provide
visitors with multimedia content and guidance through the Museums extensive science exhibit collection.

Focus Group Members Sought
We are seeking researchers who are interested in being part of the development
process of the Mobile Life Sciences Platform by participation in a user focus group.
Focus group members will receive the latest
beta software updates for their Windows Mobile Smart Phone device, report on bugs and provide
opinions on the application design and function. The first application for MLSP will be "PDB Mobile".
The PDB application will provide access
to structures and other data currently available from the RCSB web site, together with the
ability to store data on the the Smart Phone device.
If you are a regular user of the Protein Data Bank and are interested
in participating in the project,
we want to hear from you. The criteria are:
- Ideally, use the PDB on a regular basis
- Must be available once every two weeks for feedback sessions
